MLK Tourney Adventure

Truman had a tourney in Seattle this weekend...that means another family adventure. The boys did great finishing 2nd out of 24 teams!! Here Jake is doing what Jake loves most...playing game boy!! Uggh!! The boys do kinda get drug along, but they love it and really look forward to when they can play!!
Notice Taiji right there in the middle...he has become the official ball boy and takes his position very seriously!!
Truman had some great games...I think it was the old school socks Shane got him!!
Kali is always up for an adventure and did wonderful!! Here she is at one of the gyms...she always finds a little place all for her own!
Here she is thinking she's sooo cool with Truman's empty rootbeer bottle.
We have found that a portable DVD player with a good stock pile of Elmo videos and we are good to go!!
Of course there is a limit to what one little girl can handle!!
Another successful and safe trip!!

The Last Holiday Party of 06 in 07!!

For the last 3 years for Shane's office party we have had it in January instead of in the midst of all the chaos of the December Holiday and Party season. We have also had them all at our house in the form of a Cocktail Party/Game night. Here is the gang enjoying all the grub!
The game of choice this year was apples to apples. It is a fun way to get to know each other and from what we have found it is never boring...chains...really Duane??
Here is my partner in crime, my assistant chef, Kimmy and I!!
A good time was had by all and we are already looking forward to the next time we can all get together!!

Snow Day!!

This is the view from my backyard yesterday!
The morning was met with cheers and morning cartoons as they found out that there was no school!!
Truman paid Kali to do his homework for him so that he could play in the snow.
I think Truman better stick to doing his homework himself!!
I'm sure more snow pictures will follow...have a great (snow) day!!

It was a long time coming...we love you mom, you deserve it!!

Under the Weather!!

My Little monkey has been under the weather! Although it really stinks...I do have to admit I really love the snuggle time. She appears to be on the mend. We went to the Dr. today and of course, "It's just a virus, let it work it's course" But I had her weighed and she is only 21lb 10oz. So when I say my 'little' monkey...I'm not kidding!

My little Kali Girl!!

Kali had a busy day today trying to master the art of walking in her dad's slippers!!
She was doing great...other than trying to avoid the camera at every turn...But all good things must come to an end...and the slippers went back in the closet.
Please note the very cute little piggy tails and the very cute AB/CD sweatshirt...Dad happens to be a very big AC/DC fan...mom not so much...this is our compromise!!

Life has started to slow down...for now!

Havin' fun with Her new Elmo bath toy!!
Aunt Sandra playing for a very willing audience...she claps at everything!
I know it's an older picture...but we do love our baseball and well...they are so darn handsome!

I realize that over these last couple of weeks that maybe I have set myself up for a fall...at least in the world of blogging...Yes I know you have come to expect a new blog entry everyday and over the last couple of weeks sometimes two in a day...well now life has started to come back to normal and there isn't a party every other day but I will try to maintain my entries...so this one is just purely misc. I had a great day working on our Christmas/Birthday Present for my Mother in-law aka. Guela...We are, as a whole family, giving her an extreme make over on her house. It is a work in progress and will post pictures as soon as I have some to post. I also went a little crazy on my hair today and now have not one stitch of blonde in it...a first in a very long time and again will post when I can actually get someone to take a picture of me...for now you will just have to settle for some pics of the kids...and do i love these kids! Thats all for now!!
