I know that I have not been very present here in the blogging world...for my faithful few, I'm OK...no worries. Up until I finished this book today there really was little to blog about. I know a lot of you out there are avid readers so I couldn't go away for the weekend before I shared this book with you. At the top the the book it reads, "Where tragedy confronts Eternity". I must say that this drew me in...I find myself at times really struggling with the why's of my life...worrying way to much about something I have no control over. I found this book has really challenged me to let go of my old perceptions of what a relationship with God is or should be. I've had to search within myself to start the process of letting go all that is holding me back from truly allowing God to not just be a character in my life but to be my life. I have a long ways to go to be sure...but it's a start and I am grateful for this catalyst. Defiantly read it...and then let me know what you think. To be honest it's one of those books you almost have to read two maybe even three times to grasp all that it is trying to say and I hope to do that!!

A must read!!

Agent in Training!
Shane is always looking for a good prosepective agent. Kali decided that she was it! We just started her training program and who knows in about 20 years she may be the new face of Vandalen Insurance!!
The funny part is that she is the perfect mix of both of us...me intently typing away on the computer, and Shane busy talking on the phone!!

Superbowl Dance Party!
